The Special Enrollment Period that extended the deadline for citizens of the Federated Stated of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Republic of Palau who currently reside in Hawai’i to enroll for coverage (retroactively) starting Jan. 1, 2016. The deadline to enroll is Monday, Feb. 15, 2016. Hawai’i residents who are eligible for this special enrollment period must enroll through HealthCare.gov to have coverage.

This is the LAST CHANCE for most residents eligible for the special enrollment period to get healthcare coverage. Unless you are covered through an employer or you are currently receiving coverage through Med-QUEST, you will be uninsured until 2017.
