Former Foster Youth May Be Medicaid Eligible

HI H.O.P.E.S. launched the powerdtil26 campaign as a statewide outreach effort to inform former foster youth about their eligibility for free Medicaid coverage until age 26 and encourage enrollment. Below is a video HI H.O.P.E.S. produced for this effort to inform youth about their eligibility.

HI H.O.P.E.S. (Hawaii, Helping Our People Envision Success) Youth Leadership Boards provide the youth voice for the Hawaii Youth Opportunities Initiative and serves as the Youth Advisory Council for the Department of Human Services, Child Welfare Services in Hawaii. The organization is comprised of current and former foster youth between the ages of 14 and 25. The organization works to education, collaborate and advocate.
